I’ve searched on Google and consulted various AI systems about the possibility of fitting an aftermarket hub on a 2026 RAV4 that doesn’t come with one. The first thing it tells me is that there are generic solutions, but they’re rather shoddy. However, it tells me that in China there’s a long tradition of creating retrofits with hubs specifically designed for specific models. The RAV4 is selling well in China, so it’s likely that, thanks to China’s well-known skill in reverse engineering (taking a car apart to see how it works), we’ll soon have adapted hubs available at a good price.
It all depends on whether there’s a market for it.
What do you think? Would there be enough RAV4 owners keen to upgrade their car with a HUB?
