Creaking/groaning noise and vibration when the car stops

I have a 2026 Toyota RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid FWD and I’m getting a creaking/groaning noise from the brakes.

The noise happens mainly in two situations:

• when I brake gently and the car comes to a complete stop, I hear a noticeable groan/creak and feel the vibration of the car.
• when I release the brake pedal and the car starts moving again, I hear the same noise once more.

It seems to happen at very low speed, right at the point where the brakes are holding or releasing the car. The braking performance itself feels normal and I’m not getting any warning lights or brake system messages.

Has anyone else with a 2026 RAV4, especially the Plug-in Hybrid, experienced this? Did Toyota say it was normal, or did a dealer actually find and fix something such as pads, shims, calipers, lubrication, or the brake actuator?
